AMERICA IS AT WAR!

Who Are We? Fifteen years ago, a small group of concerned citizens from all walks of life began meeting weekly to discuss our nation and the problems we faced. The more we met and talked, the more we realized that non of us really understood how our nation had deteriorated so quickly. We listened to our elected officials, telling us that their solutions were producing results. When conditions worsened, rather than to admit failure, they simply claimed inadequate funding. Even after decades of substantial increases to governmental budgets, the problem only got worse. Because of this dishonesty, our national reserves are now gone, and even worse, we are leaving our children with the largest debt in history.

The more we learned, the more frustrated and concerned we became. So, we agreed to start reading everything we could find and to meet with knowledgeable people who could give us accurate information. As we gained knowledge, we began to recognize that the problems our nation faced were not by accident or coincidental. As hard as this was to accept, we discovered that these problems were the direct result of policies devised by a small group of people determined to change our society and place themselves in charge. Ours was not a formal group. The participants had no political agenda or ulterior motive. The common ingredient was a desire to discover the truth. The composition of the group continuously changed over the years. Frustrated and convinced that nothing could be done, several were overwhelmed and left. Fortunately most remained and more joined. It became quite evident that, once Americans became truly aware of the problems and their seriousness, they were willing to commit their time, energy and resources. Through dedication and perseverance, the number of concerned citizens continued to grow. Wake Up America: We've Got Work to Do! was founded as a vehicle to focus the energies of all concerned Americans.
